Whether you’re a fluent French wine speaker or just a casual beginner, come practice at Bell Wine & Spirits‘ French Grand Tasting between 5-8PM tonight. For a mere $5 fee, you can taste dozens of winderful French wines and champagnes, from a 2008 Perchaud Chablis AOC (I love chablis!) to a 2008 Mordoree Chateauneuf du Pape, a 2009 Lauverjat Sancerre or a 2009 Reynaud Croze Hermitage. If these words (brut, blanc – please don’t pronounce the c -, rouge, village, prestige…) mean nothing to you, come learn (and taste, bien sûr). And if you’re well versed in French wines, then you should know this is going to be a great tasting!
À votre santé!
Bell Wine & Spirits is located at 1821 M Street, NW, a quick walk from Dupont Circle, Farragut North or Farragut West.
